P. DiMarco & Co was requested to work with an aggressive schedule to prepare the 96-acre site for the building of 266 apartment homes, cottages and villas.
P. DiMarco was also contracted to minimize inconvenience to local residences while connecting an 8-inch sanitary line to an existing line in a near-by cul-de-sac with over 300 linear feet of adjacent private property in between.
Unknown at the time of project bidding and several months into the job, a third challenge arose, as P. DiMarco was asked to remediate debris from a trash pit. |

P. DiMarco excavated over 300,000 cubic yards of dirt preparing the site for building a full two months ahead of schedule.
In a 'can't go over it, can't go around it' scenario, P. DiMarco went under it. The P. DiMarco & Co. crew first dug 28 feet below ground, secured the pit, then sub-contracted to bore approximately 330 feet under a private land installing a 30-inch diameter steel sleeve with little service interruption or inconvenience. An 8-inch sanitary pipe was run though the sleeve connecting to the existing line in the adjacent cul-de-sac.
In the end, P. DiMarco screened in excess of 35,000 cubic yards of material. The trash was hauled to a certified landfill. The 'cleaned' soil was available for reuse and used during site work on the job site.
