P. DiMarco Awarded Contract for Phila Park Casino

On September 27th 2006, the Philadelphia Park Racetrack was awarded a conditional slots license by the PA Gaming Control Board. Philadelphia Park contracted Intech Construction from Philadelphia to construct the new casino. Intech's responsibility included the reconstruction of the existing parking lot and construction of a new parking facility. Both Philadelphia Park and Intech required a contractor qualified and capable to complete such a massive undertaking. P. DiMarco & Co., Inc., a leader in the Philadelphia paving industry, took this challenge and was awarded the contract.

P. Dimarco was challenged with the site work, milling and paving for 45 acres of new parking by the December 19th deadline. The reality of short winter days and the possibility of weather related issues also increased the P. DiMarco's resolve to complete this project on time and to our exacting standards.

The P. DiMarco team developed an aggressive schedule utilizing all current technology and construction methods. Together with the commitment from our suppliers, subcontractors and employees, DiMarco was confident that the deadline would be met. Our dedicated crews, working seven days a week, twelve hours a day under the supervision of Mike Dellostretto, Ken Umstead and Mike Magdelinskas not only met, but exceeded the deadline.
