Safety during performance is a priority at P.DiMarco. This is demonstrated by our Worker’s Compensation claim record.

Our Worker’s Compensation Experience Modification for the past five years is significantly lower than the industry standard of 1.000, with an all time company low of 0.687 in 2005. Our record of low claims helps lower our insurance costs and in turn saves our customers money.

A Comprehensive Safety Program is not only required by federal law but also makes good business sense. At P.DiMarco, it is the job of Mike Dellostretto, our Safety Officer and Vice President of Operations, who is responsible for enforcing our safety procedures. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, it is Mike’s responsibility to ensure that each of our field superintendents, operators and laborers are properly trained and comply with local, state and federal OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) requirements while performing their duties on the jobsite. In addition, all of our site superintendents and foreman have completed the 40 Hour OSHA Certification Course, CPR and First Aid Training, Confined Space Training and Trenching and Shoring Courses before performing their roles in the field.

It is the standard practice at P.DiMarco to do everything possible to ensure a safe and injury free workplace for our employees, customers and the public.
